Where is Watchdog Shelley Berkley on Hilary Rosen’s Insults?
Shelley Berkley was quick to the punch when a right-leaning radio talk show host insulted women. Now that one of President Obama’s own advisors has done the same, Nevadans are watching to see if Shelley Berkley will continue to carry the mantle forward as a media commentator watchdog.
“Shelley Berkley, do you agree with President Obama’s advisor or will you stand up for mothers and families? Now is your chance to come forward and defend women, even if one of your political allies is taking the shots. Or do you only take issue with media commentators when you think it gives you the political advantage?” asked David Gallagher, Executive Director of the Nevada Republican Party.
Obama advisor Hilary Rosen discounted Ann Romney’s hard work as a mother of five, saying that Ann Romney has “never worked a day in her life,” a job that Rosen views as a “wonderful luxury.”
President Obama’s top political advisors are trying their hardest to distance themselves from the advisor, an individual who has visited the White House as many as 35 times. (Michael D.
